Tesla Notches First 2025 Gains in France, Denmark as Norway Hits Two‑Year High and Sweden Sinks

  • Local data show September marked the first monthly rise this year for Tesla in France (+2.74% year over year) and Denmark (+20.5%).
  • Denmark crowned the revamped Model Y as the best-selling vehicle, with 1,955 of Tesla’s 2,232 registrations.

  • Sweden logged a ninth straight monthly decline as Tesla registrations fell 64% year over year to 1,726, though that was a sharp rebound from 210 in August.
  • Through January–August, Tesla sales fell 42.9% in the EU and 32.6% across Europe, as Chinese rival BYD outsold Tesla in the EU in August for the second time this year.
