Tesla Model X Launches Over Pool, Crashes Into San Mateo Home

- Witnesses reported seeing the Tesla slow down to a stop before rapidly accelerating. The vehicle was not in self-driving mode at the time of the incident.
- The driver stated that she was unfamiliar with driving this car and had not driven in about a year. She suggested there might have been an issue with the car.
- The house sustained significant damage, including to the kitchen and rear wall, and has been red-tagged for inspection before residents can re-enter.
