Tesla released a teaser video of the new Model Y L to its Weibo account.

Overview

  • Priced from RMB 339,000 (about $47,180), the model went live on Tesla China’s configurator early Tuesday with first deliveries estimated for September 2025.
  • Tesla lists a CLTC range of 751 km, 0–100 km/h in 4.5 seconds and a 210 km/h top speed, while MIIT filings show an 82.0‑kWh LG battery and dual motors rated at 142 kW front and 198 kW rear.
  • The three-row layout uses second‑row captain’s chairs with powered armrests, adds power‑folding second and third rows, and introduces a black headliner, extra rear air vents and added cupholders.
  • The stretched body and 3,040 mm wheelbase increase space to a claimed 2,539 liters of maximum storage, with continuously variable damping, standard 19‑inch Mecha Wheels and an optional Starlight Gold paint upgrade.
  • Units have been seen moving from Giga Shanghai after Tesla’s "coming soon" Weibo teaser, and the company has not announced availability outside China as prototypes were spotted testing at Germany’s Nürburgring.
