- Tesla officially opened its first Indian showroom at the Maker Maxity Mall in Mumbai’s Bandra Kurla Complex today.
- The Andheri Regional Transport Office granted a five-year trade certificate enabling Tesla to display vehicles, offer test drives and commence direct sales.
- Two variants of the Model Y—Long Range RWD and Long Range AWD—are on display with bookings now open for deliveries starting after September 2025.
- A display unit of the Model 3 was also revealed at the centre, with sales expected to begin later in 2025.
- Tesla plans to follow up with a second showroom in Delhi and establish a service centre in Kurla West to support after-sales and maintenance.
