Tesla Begins Rolling Out FSD v14.1 With Robotaxi-Style Features to U.S. HW4 Owners

The release brings Robotaxi-style arrival options and vision-based routing to Tesla’s supervised driver-assist system.

Overview

  • Tesla initiated a staged U.S. rollout late Monday, with HW4-equipped owners reporting immediate downloads of FSD (Supervised) v14.1.
  • New Arrival Options let drivers choose where the car should finish a trip—parking lot, street, driveway, garage, or curbside—mirroring Robotaxi drop-offs.
  • Navigation and routing are now integrated into the vision neural network for real-time handling of closures, blocked roads, and detours.
  • The update adds an extra Speed Profile, including a new Sloth mode, plus UI changes such as one-tap start and on-screen adjustments, and repurposes the right scroll wheel to change profiles.
  • Release notes emphasize the system remains supervised and not autonomous, and detail reliability and safety enhancements including better emergency-vehicle behavior, debris and gate handling, camera self-cleaning, and improved fault recovery, with further 14.x updates planned.
