Terrifier creator Damien Leone has hinted that the popular horror franchise could conclude with the upcoming Terrifier 3, a detail that will only be revealed in the film as he believes this would be too much of a spoiler.
Leone has confirmed the film's previous characters, Sienna and her brother, Jonathan, will return in Terrifier 3, which will explore how the survivors cope with the trauma following Art the Clown's return.
Leone, who initially worked on the makeup effects for the movies, will now focus 100% on directing, after hiring a Hollywood makeup team to expedite the production timeline for Terrifier 3.
A leaked promotional poster confirmed that Terrifier 3 will be set during Christmas, joining the likes of other festive horror movies such as 'Krampus' and 'Silent Night, Deadly Night'.
Using the funds from a more generous budget, Terrifier 3 is expected to be another boundary-pushing addition to the horror genre, promising an even more terrifying and brutal return of Art the Clown.
