Overview
- Owens made the remarks in a RotoGrinders interview published Tuesday, saying Hurts is a top-two or top-three NFL quarterback and criticizing analysts who rank him outside the league's upper tier.

- Owens told RotoGrinders that the Eagles 'are going to be as good as Jalen Hurts takes them' and called Philadelphia's defense 'stacked,' saying the unit can ease pressure but not replace Hurts' role.
- The comments update a wider debate that compares Hurts' dual-threat, win-first profile with high-volume passers such as Patrick Mahomes, Joe Burrow, Justin Herbert and Josh Allen.
- Owens' high-profile endorsement is likely to sharpen conversations about quarterback evaluation and put renewed focus on how analysts weigh wins, leadership and supporting defenses in future rankings.
