Terraform Labs Former CFO Extradited to South Korea

Han Chang-joon, former CFO of Terraform Labs, has been extradited from Montenegro to South Korea to face multiple fraud charges.

Han Chang-joon was extradited following the completion of his four-month prison sentence in Montenegro for attempting to travel using forged documents.
He faces charges in South Korea related to fraud in financial investment services, investments, and the capital market, with a potential life sentence.
The extradition was carried out at the request of South Korea, following a decision by Montenegro's Ministry of Justice.
Do Kwon, Terraform Labs co-founder, remains in custody in Montenegro, with his extradition to either the U.S. or South Korea still pending.
The charges against Han and Kwon relate to the collapse of the Terra ecosystem in May 2022, which led to significant losses in the crypto market.
