Tennessee’s Dylan Sampson Declares for 2025 NFL Draft After Record-Breaking Season

The junior running back set multiple school and SEC records, earning SEC Offensive Player of the Year honors and leading the Volunteers to the College Football Playoff.

Dylan Sampson announced his decision to enter the 2025 NFL Draft after a standout junior season with the Tennessee Volunteers.
Sampson set Tennessee single-season records with 1,491 rushing yards and 22 rushing touchdowns, breaking a 95-year-old program record.
He led the SEC in nine statistical categories, including total rushing yards, touchdowns, and all-purpose yards per game, and was named SEC Offensive Player of the Year.
The Volunteers finished the season 10-3 and made the College Football Playoff, where Sampson was limited by a hamstring injury in a first-round loss to Ohio State.
Over three seasons, Sampson accumulated 2,492 rushing yards, 35 rushing touchdowns, and 342 receiving yards, solidifying his legacy as one of Tennessee’s most accomplished running backs.
