Tennessee Woman Charged in Alleged Murder-for-Hire Plot Targeting Ex-Husband

Angelia Solomon, accused of plotting to kill her ex-husband Aaron Solomon, remains in custody ahead of a bond hearing, with new details emerging about the undercover operation that led to her arrest.

Angelia Solomon, 55, was arrested on April 11, 2025, for allegedly attempting to hire a hitman to murder her ex-husband, former TV anchor Aaron Solomon.
Authorities say Solomon met with an undercover officer posing as a hitman in the Cool Springs Mall parking lot, where she promised future payment and provided her vehicle registration as collateral.
Investigators allege the motive for the plot was to enable the couple's daughter to access a trust fund following Aaron Solomon's death.
The family has faced prior public scrutiny following the controversial death of their son, Grant Solomon, in 2020, which some family members deemed suspicious.
Angelia Solomon is currently being held at the Williamson County Jail on a $500,000 bond, with a scheduled court hearing for a bond reduction on April 15, 2025.
