Tennessee Titans Hire Brian Callahan as Head Coach, Promote Ran Carthon and Chad Brinker

Carthon to Have Final Say on Personnel, Brinker to Oversee Football Departments, Callahan Expected to Develop QB Will Levis

Brian Callahan, former Cincinnati Bengals' offensive coordinator, has been hired as the new head coach for the Tennessee Titans.
Ran Carthon has been promoted to executive vice president/general manager, and Chad Brinker has been promoted to president of football operations for the Titans.
Carthon will have the final say on personnel and oversight on the coaching staff, while Brinker will manage the football departments including salary cap management, analytics and strategy, communications and information systems.
Callahan's hiring is seen as a move to further develop second-year quarterback Will Levis, given Callahan's extensive history working with quarterbacks.
The Titans have the seventh overall draft pick this April and have the third-most salary cap space in the NFL.
