  • The game, set in a dystopian future Tokyo, was showcased at The Game Awards through a cinematic trailer featuring a young girl, her cyborg mother, and a motorcycle-riding hero in a massive cyberpunk city.
  • Last Sentinel represents Tencent's efforts to expand beyond the Chinese gaming market and develop original intellectual properties, having been in development for four years.
  • The game is being developed by a team of around 200 people at Tencent's Lightspeed LA game studio, including seasoned professionals with experience in crafting triple-A titles such as The Last of Us, Jedi: Fallen Order, Uncharted, and more.
  • No release date for Last Sentinel has been announced yet.
