Tenacious D reunited to contribute a cover of REO Speedwagon's 'Keep on Loving You' to the 'Good Music to Lift Los Angeles' benefit album.
The 90-track compilation, available for one day on Bandcamp, supports the LA Regional Food Bank and California Foundation's Wildfire Fund.
The band went on hiatus in July 2024 after Kyle Gass made a controversial joke about an assassination attempt on Donald Trump during a concert in Sydney.
Following the backlash, Jack Black and Kyle Gass issued apologies, canceled their Australian tour, and paused all creative plans, including a U.S. tour.
Jack Black stated that the duo remained friends during the break and hinted at a return when the timing felt appropriate.
