Overview
- The N222 (Westlandroute) is closed from 14–24 November, while the N211 (Wippolderlaan) closes 22:00 Friday to 04:00 Monday on 14–17 November and 21–24 November between the A4 and Erasmusweg.
- Crews are building a temporary bypass at the N211/N222 junction to shift traffic so work can proceed safely on a future fly-over and a lowered intersection.
- Detours route drivers via Prinses Beatrixlaan in Rijswijk and the N223, and bus line 37 continues on its normal schedule.
- Rijkswaterstaat has additional weekend closures on major routes, including the A27 between Hooipolder and Hank from Friday 21:00 to Monday 05:00, with more works announced on the A12, A15 and A16.
- The N211 overhaul widens the road to 2x3 lanes and adds new structures, with the province citing technical hurdles, higher costs by €54–72 million and a completion target around 2028.
