Temporada Alta Launches Flaix de Tardor-BCN in Barcelona With Tickets on Sale Friday

It will showcase works by directors from Argentina to Germany in a bid to position Barcelona as a hub for global theater.

Overview

  • Ticket sales for Flaix de Tardor-BCN begin June 13 ahead of the festival running October 21 to November 15, 2025 across six Barcelona theaters.
  • Temporada Alta is organizing the four-week event independently from its Girona festival with coordination from the Festival Grec.
  • The Generalitat de Catalunya and Barcelona City Council are each contributing €200,000 to support the new cultural initiative.
  • Seven international productions will be staged, including works by Alain Platel, Toni Servillo, Tim Etchells and the Dresden Frankfurt Dance Company.
  • Participating venues include Teatre Lliure, La Biblioteca, Fundació Joan Brossa, La Villarroel, Teatre Goya and Mercat de les Flors.
