Temple University Student Dies After Fall During Eagles Celebration

Sabapathy, an accomplished gymnast with over 120 medals, suffered a severe brain injury upon striking the concrete and passed away at Jefferson Hospital two days later.
The university described him as a thriving student majoring in exercise and sports science, with a passion for injury prevention and a bright future ahead.
Philadelphia police are reviewing safety measures, including whether poles were greased to deter climbing, as part of their response to the chaotic celebrations.
The celebrations also saw other incidents, including a car driving into a crowd and multiple injuries, prompting ongoing investigations by local authorities.
