Visitors will find expanded access across Temple Square despite a closed temple perimeter.

  • Areas surrounding the scaffold-covered Salt Lake Temple remain closed as seismic upgrades and renovations continue.
  • December offerings include free Christ-centered displays, concerts, guided tours, and nightly performances across the grounds through Dec. 27.

  • The Roof restaurant reopened Nov. 14 after remodeling and is taking holiday reservations, and a public open house for the renovated temple is scheduled to begin in April 2027.
