• Shrewsbury Crown Court sentenced Khan to three years on Friday, August 22, after he admitted multiple drug offences and possessing criminal property.
• Officers boxed in a white Mercedes near a One Stop on Dawley Road in February last year, prompting Khan to flee, knock over a child, and throw a bag of about 100 wraps.
• Police recovered the bag at the scene, and three wraps were later found in a passing child’s pram inches from the child’s hand; the child was not hurt.
• A search of Khan’s Leegomery home uncovered heroin, crack cocaine and cannabis with an estimated value of around £26,000.
• Detective Sergeant Andy Pond praised the investigation and said officers will continue to pursue those involved in drug supply in Telford.
