Overview

• The Television Academy announced Conan O’Brien, Ryan Murphy, Viola Davis, Henry Winkler, Mike Post and the late Don Mischer as its 27th Hall of Fame class.
• Induction is scheduled for August 16 at the JW Marriott at L.A. LIVE during the inaugural Televerse festival in Los Angeles.
• Don Mischer will be honored posthumously, recognizing his prolific live-event direction spanning Oscars broadcasts, Super Bowl halftime shows and presidential inaugurations.
• Composer Mike Post is celebrated for scoring more than 7,200 hours of television, including theme music for Law & Order and Hill Street Blues.
• The class spans disciplines, from Conan O’Brien’s late-night hosting run and Viola Davis’s landmark Emmy win to Ryan Murphy’s hit series and Henry Winkler’s Emmy-winning Fonz legacy.
