Overview

• Tele5 will roll out the first three seasons from July 7 through October 13, 2025, broadcasting double episodes every Monday at around 22:15.
• The fourth and final season, completed in 2021 but delayed by the WarnerMedia-Discovery merger, will premiere on German free TV on October 20 and conclude on November 17, 2025.
• After Netflix lost the international rights and AMC rescued the finale with a US summer 2024 broadcast, Tele5 has now acquired the German free-TV licence for all 40 episodes.
• It remains unclear how Tele5’s acquisition will affect the availability of the first three seasons that are currently streaming on Netflix in Germany.
• Based on Bong Joon Ho’s graphic novel and film, the post-apocalyptic series follows survivors aboard a 1001-car train encircling a frozen Earth and stars Jennifer Connelly and Daveed Diggs.
