Telangana University Opens Admissions for New Nizamabad Engineering College on August 5

It will launch four 60-seat BTech programmes under the third phase of engineering counselling to boost access to technical education in Nizamabad.

Overview

  • Education Department Secretary Dr. Yogita Rana issued GO No. 32 on July 31, sanctioning the University College of Engineering under Telangana University.
  • The institution will offer BTech degrees in Computer Science and Engineering, Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, Computer Science and IT, and Data Science.
  • Each programme has an inaugural intake of 60 students, totalling 240 seats for the 2025–26 academic year.
  • Vice Chancellor Prof. T. Yadagiri Rao vowed to deliver quality technical education and assured prospective students of seamless enrolment.
  • The college responds to more than ten years of local advocacy and aims to broaden technical education beyond urban centres in Telangana.
