Telangana to Unveil Tourism Policy at Shilparamam With ₹15,000 Crore in Expected MoUs
The plan couples expected investment agreements with new digital portals, transport offerings, safety upgrades to draw visitors and private capital.

- Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy will launch the policy on Saturday at the Telangana Tourism Conclave on World Tourism Day in Shilparamam.
- Agreements worth about ₹15,000 crore are slated to be signed for hotels, resorts, wellness projects, vineyards, wedding venues and safari lodges involving domestic and international partners.
- A Film in Telangana portal will provide single-window, AI-enabled approvals for shoots to streamline production across locations in and around Hyderabad.
- A Medical Value Tourism portal will list hospitals, specialists, insurance and visa guidance, plus translation and airport-to-hospital support for international patients.
- Experiential and access initiatives include a 120-seat double-decker Hussainsagar cruise named Muchukunda, initial helicopter links from Hyderabad to Somasila and Srisailam, feasibility studies for seaplanes, an expansion of tourist police from 15 to 90, IRCTC tie-ups, a digital tourism card, BookMyShow event collaboration and global cuisine promotion with the Netherlands.
