Telangana Speaker Dismisses Defection Petitions Against Two More BRS MLAs

Speaker Gaddam Prasad Kumar rejected disqualification pleas against Pocharam Srinivas Reddy and Kale Yadaiah, finding no proof of defection and holding they remain in BRS.
With these orders, seven of the ten disqualification petitions filed by BRS over alleged alignment with Congress have now been dismissed.
Petitions against Tellam Venkat Rao, Bandla Krishna Mohan Reddy, T. Prakash Goud, Gudem Mahipal Reddy, and Arekapudi Gandhi were dismissed last month.
An order on Sanjay Kumar is still awaited after hearings were completed and reserved.
Hearings for Danam Nagender and Kadiyam Srihari are expected after they submit replies, with the process unfolding after a Supreme Court contempt notice over earlier delays.
