Overview
- The Sports Authority of Telangana will conduct the multi-tier tournament across village, mandal, Assembly constituency, district and state levels.
- Competitions start January 17–22 at Gram Panchayat level, move to January 28–31 at mandals/ULBs, February 3–7 at Assembly constituencies, February 10–14 at districts, with state finals February 19–26.
- The event features 44 disciplines, including archery, athletics, badminton, boxing, Mallakhamb, Wushu and Para Games.
- Organisers are rolling out digital registration, centralized data capture and monitoring, digital athlete IDs, a WhatsApp bot, AI chatbots and multilingual AI call centers.
- A torch rally will traverse district headquarters from January 8–17 to promote the tournament, and mentors such as retired coaches and past champions will guide young athletes.
