Telangana Scheme Sees 43 UPSC Mains Qualifiers Advance to Interviews
The state promises Delhi lodging, extra ₹1 lakh per candidate plus mock interviews to strengthen performance.

- Forty-three candidates from Telangana have qualified for the 2025 Civil Services interview after clearing the Mains.
- They are part of 202 aspirants who earlier received ₹1 lakh each under the Rajiv Gandhi Civil Services Abhaya Hastam initiative.
- Officials said the shortlisted candidates will get accommodation in New Delhi, an additional ₹1 lakh each, and mock interviews with senior bureaucrats.
- The programme is funded through Singareni Collieries Company Limited’s CSR arm, with leaders including the Chief Minister and Deputy Chief Minister congratulating the qualifiers.
- Over two years, the scheme has supported 342 candidates with about ₹3.62 crore to expand Telangana’s representation in the Civil Services.
