Telangana Reshuffles IPS Leadership with Key Academy and Cyber Bureau Appointments

Overview

  • Abhilasha Bisht (1994 batch) has been appointed Director of the RBVRR Telangana State Police Academy in Hyderabad following a June 4 government order.
  • Shikha Goel (1994 batch) takes charge as Director of the Telangana Cyber Security Bureau with additional responsibility for the Forensic Science Laboratory.
  • Charu Sinha (1996 batch) returns from central deputation to serve as Additional Director General of Police in the CID with oversight of women’s safety initiatives including SHE Teams and Bharosa.
  • Tafseer Iqubal (2008 batch) has been posted as Deputy Inspector General of Police for Zone VI in the Charminar division.
  • District postings under the same order include D. V. Srinivasa Rao as SP of Medak, Patil Kantilal Subhash as SP of Komaram Bheem Asifabad and S. Chaitanya Kumar as DCP of Hyderabad’s South East Zone.
