Overview
- First-year theory exams run from February 25 to March 17, 2026, with second-year papers from February 26 to March 18, all in the 9:00 am–12:00 noon session.
- Practical examinations are scheduled from February 2 to 21 in two daily slots, with English practicals on January 21 (1st year) and January 22 (2nd year) and Ethics and Human Values and Environmental Education on January 23 and 24.
- The board confirmed alternative arrangements for candidates whose practicals clash with the JEE Main 2026 session scheduled for January 21–30.
- Fees are set at Rs 530 for general courses plus Rs 100 for English practicals, and Rs 870 for second-year science and vocational streams, with late-fee windows extending to December 15.
- Hall tickets will be issued about two weeks before the exams via tgbie.cgg.gov.in, and passing requires at least 35% per subject and 350 out of 1000 overall with a 25% per-subject minimum for differently-abled students.
