Overview
- The Transport, Roads & Buildings Department issued a Government Order sanctioning the study, with the Finance Department having released a Rs 40.53 lakh BRO on August 8 based on AAI’s stated fee of Rs 40,52,946 per site.
- The alternate location lies in Anthergaon mandal, identified by the district administration after AAI found the Basanthnagar site infeasible due to surrounding hills and restricted airspace used by the IAF.
