Overview
- The Scheduled Caste Development Department directed the Vigilance and Enforcement wing to immediately inspect all institutions drawing Reimbursement of Tuition Fee and Maintenance Fee funds.
- The Director-General of Vigilance and Enforcement is the nodal officer and must file detailed reports with recommendations after the visits.
- Police and anti-corruption units, including the DGP, CID, ACB, Intelligence and the commissionerates of Hyderabad, Cyberabad, Rachakonda and Warangal, will support the inspection teams.
- The probe covers professional, degree and postgraduate colleges and will verify student eligibility and admissions, attendance and performance, staffing levels and infrastructure against recognition norms.
