Telangana Nights Ease as Bay System Set to Bring Brief Southern Showers

IMD tracks a low-pressure area likely to become a depression around November 24 with no warnings in place.

Overview

  • Minimum temperatures have rebounded across the state, with the lowest at 10.4°C in Lingapur on Saturday after a colder spell earlier in the week.
  • Light to moderate, isolated rain is expected in southern districts such as Bhadradri Kothagudem, Khammam, Nalgonda, Suryapet, Nagarkurnool and Wanaparthy between November 23 and 25.
  • Hyderabad is forecast to remain largely stable with partly cloudy skies and mist or haze in the morning or night hours.
  • IMD indicates dry weather is likely to return statewide from November 25 to 28, and IMD Hyderabad has issued no alerts for the next seven days.
  • The Telangana Development Planning Society expects minimum temperatures to rise by another 2–3°C over the next two to three days.
