Overview
- As of June 23, the state has transferred ₹8,284.66 crore to 67.01 lakh farmers under the Vanakalam crop tranche of the Rythu Bharosa scheme
- Rs. 23.49 crore reached 41.25 lakh beneficiaries on the first day of disbursement and the rollout has since expanded to include farmers owning up to 15 acres
- Nalgonda district leads with ₹679.19 crore disbursed to 5.13 lakh cultivators while Khammam, Nagarkurnool, Suryapet and Sangareddy have each topped ₹350 crore
- The scheme spans 138.08 lakh acres across 33 districts and covers 70.12 lakh farmers, adding to the ₹21,000 crore in loan waivers already issued by the state government
- The ceremony near the Rajiv Gandhi statue outside the Telangana Secretariat will be attended by Chief Minister Revanth Reddy and his cabinet colleagues
