  • The Crime Investigation Department (CID), led by Director-General Shikha Goel, credited field officers' consistent case monitoring and citizen-friendly initiatives for the success.
  • Hyderabad Commissionerate achieved the highest recovery with 11,879 devices, followed by Cyberabad with 10,385 and Rachakonda with 8,681.
  • The CEIR portal, developed by the Department of Telecommunications, was integrated with the Telangana Police Citizen Portal to streamline public reporting and device returns.
  • Operational across all 780 police stations in Telangana, the CEIR portal aims to combat mobile theft and counterfeit devices, setting a model for other states.
