Telangana Launches Stone-Built Overhaul of Medaram Jatara, Seeks National Festival Status

  • Revanth Reddy unveiled a master plan at Medaram with stone reconstruction of the Sammakka–Saralamma platforms, a grand entrance archway and streamlined queue lines.

  • The Chief Minister asked the Union government to grant national-festival status to the event and to provide funds, citing support extended to the Kumbh Mela.
