Overview
- All homeless poor in Telangana will be provided Indiramma houses in three phases, including completion of unfinished double-bedroom units inherited from the previous administration.
- The government will release funds every Monday and supply 40 metric tonnes of free sand per sanctioned house regardless of fiscal constraints.
- District collectors must expedite beneficiary identification, sanction and construction monitoring and cancel any ineligible allocations during the process.
- Newly formed district-level price control committees will regulate the cost of steel, cement and bricks used in housing projects.
- The rollout includes free electricity up to 200 units, LPG refills at Rs 500, subsidized rice and free women’s bus travel, alongside coordinated flood-response planning in Krishna and Godavari basin districts.
