Overview
- Revenue Minister P. Srinivas Reddy announced that Phase 1 will construct permanent buildings for 60 Tahsildar offices and five RDO offices now operating from rented premises.
- Phase 2 will reconstruct about 170 Tahsildar and RDO offices in dilapidated or unsuitable buildings, with a uniform statewide design to be finalized after consultation with Chief Minister Revanth Reddy.
- The minister held a review at the Secretariat to map offices in rented or weak structures and to align designs with cost-effective, high-quality service goals.
- The Stamps and Registration Department has grouped 39 Sub-Registrar offices within the Outer Ring Road into 12 integrated complexes, with foundation stones laid at Gachibowli, Medchal-Malkajgiri, and Patancheru.
- Construction at the Gachibowli integrated facility is in its final stage and is expected to become operational in the coming months, as the government also addresses staffing gaps and past planning lapses.
