Overview
- The Chief Minister has enrolled in Harvard Kennedy School’s ‘Leadership for the 21st Century: Chaos, Conflict, and Courage’ to be held on the Cambridge, Massachusetts campus.
- Most reports list the programme dates as January 25–30, while at least one agency report cites January 25–31.
- The executive course includes classroom sessions, assignments, and group projects with participants from more than 20 countries, chaired by Prof. Tim O’Brien and directed by Prof. Karen Morrissey.
- On completion, he will receive a Harvard-issued certificate, which the Chief Minister’s Office says would be a first for a sitting Indian chief minister.
- Opposition party BRS has criticized the overseas course and questioned his recent foreign travel, urging attention to state issues and alleging limited returns from such visits.
