Telangana Clears ₹3,745-Crore Investments From Coca-Cola, JSW UAV and Toshiba

Ministers ordered expedited procedures to move the three projects into operation quickly.

  • JSW UAV Limited will invest ₹785 crore in a new drone manufacturing facility at Maheshwaram, expected to generate 364 jobs.
  • Toshiba Transmission and Distribution Systems will set up a gas insulated switchgear and bushings plant with a ₹562 crore outlay, creating about 550 jobs.
  • Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka chaired the meeting with ministers D. Sridhar Babu and Ponguleti Srinivasa Reddy, who also reviewed Davos MOUs and directed faster clearances for incoming investments.
