Overview

• Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy directed district collectors to remain on alert, conduct surprise inspections and submit daily situation reports to the Chief Secretary.
• A total of 150 rapid-response teams drawn from police, traffic units, NDRF, SDRF and HYDRA have been mobilised for immediate deployment during intense downpours and urban flooding.
• The medical and health department has been instructed to station doctors at every primary health centre and government hospital to manage seasonal fevers and dengue risks.
• Officers are mandated to coordinate with the Indian Meteorological Department to issue at least three-hour advance weather warnings to villages for unexpected heavy rainfall.
• The state government has released ₹1 crore in emergency funds to each district and activated veterinary services to prevent livestock disease outbreaks.
