  • Three ministers—G. Vivek Venkatswamy, Adluri Laxman Kumar and Vakiti Srihari—were sworn in on June 8 and assigned labour; welfare and empowerment; and animal husbandry, fisheries and youth services on June 11.
  • Each department allocated to the new ministers had previously been overseen by Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy.
  • Reddy continues to hold key portfolios including home, law and order, municipal administration, urban development and general administration.
  • After AICC approval, the first expansion since December 2023 filled 15 of 18 sanctioned posts and Reddy denied any further reshuffle, leaving three vacancies.
  • All three appointees are first-time MLAs representing the SC-Mala, SC-Madiga and BC-Mudiraj communities, boosting caste representation.
