Telangana Awards ₹1 Lakh to 178 UPSC Prelims Qualifiers Through Rajiv Gandhi Civils Abhaya Hastham

Funded by SCCL’s CSR fund, the programme extends further support with a ₹1 lakh grant plus New Delhi accommodation for interview-shortlisted candidates.

  • Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka announced that those who clear the UPSC mains and reach the interview stage will also receive ₹1 lakh and stay support in New Delhi.
  • Ministers Ponnam Prabhakar and Komatireddy Venkat Reddy and SCCL’s chairman N. Balram joined the felicitation ceremony alongside All India Services officers from last year’s cohort.
  • The 2024 pilot saw 10 beneficiaries selected for All India Services, though official reports differ on whether last year’s recipients numbered 140 or 148.
