Telangana ACB Widens Graft Crackdown With Nizamabad MVI Trap Following Earlier Land and Municipal Arrests

  • The tainted cash was recovered from the driver, and both accused were produced before the II Additional Special Judge for ACB cases at Nampally as the investigation continues.
  • Two days earlier, Amangal tahsildar Chintakindi Lalitha and mandal surveyor Kota Ravi were arrested after allegedly demanding ₹50,000 each to process land registration and typographical corrections.
  • Investigators said Lalitha had already accepted ₹50,000 from the complainant, and both Amangal officials were remanded to judicial custody following the City Range-2 trap.
  • In a separate case, Tandur Municipality senior assistant B. Ramesh was caught accepting ₹15,000 allegedly to allot a house number to a shed and was sent to judicial remand.
