• The ACB seized nearly ₹98,000 in unaccounted cash during surprise inspections at sub-registrar offices in Bibinagar, Jadcherla and Sadashivapet on July 17.
• Officials discovered 32 unauthorized private agents operating inside the three offices, including 12 in Bibinagar, 11 in Jadcherla and nine in Sadashivapet.
• Staff were found withholding registered documents meant for dispatch, with 93 held in Bibinagar, 20 in Jadcherla and 39 in Sadashivapet.
• Investigators reported non-functional CCTV cameras and poorly maintained government registers at Bibinagar and Sadashivapet, along with mismatches between staff’s cash holdings and official registers.
• Detailed reports are being sent to the Telangana government for further action and citizens are urged to report bribery through the ACB’s confidential helpline or social media channels.
