Telangana ACB Seizes ₹27.9 Crore and Arrests 125 Public Servants in Six-Month Anti-Graft Campaign

The bureau forwarded 129 final reports to the state government this month following half-year investigations.

Overview

  • The ACB registered 126 cases from January to June, covering 80 trap operations, eight disproportionate assets probes, 14 criminal misconduct inquiries, 10 regular enquiries, 11 surprise checks and three discreet enquiries.
  • It arrested 125 public servants—including eight outsourced employees and private individuals—on suspicions of bribery and financial misconduct.
  • A total of ₹27.91 crore was seized in the first half of 2025, comprising ₹24.57 lakh recovered in trap operations and ₹27.66 crore unearthed in disproportionate assets cases.
  • In June alone, the bureau registered 31 graft cases, trapped 25 public servants and seized over ₹6 lakh during trap operations and surprise inspections.
  • To sustain its crackdown, the ACB has urged citizens to report bribe demands anonymously via its toll-free number 1064 and social media channels with confidentiality assured.
