• Marti Shiva Krishna, Panchayat Secretary of Godisherala grampanchayat in Dasturabad mandal, was apprehended by the Telangana Anti-Corruption Bureau on June 24 while receiving a ₹12,000 bribe
• He allegedly demanded the payment to grant permission for a new water plant and to allot a house number for the facility
• ACB officials recovered the ₹12,000 from his possession and confirmed its linkage to the alleged crime through chemical tests on his fingertips
• Shiva Krishna is currently in ACB custody and undergoing interrogation as investigators probe the case
