Teenager Tamzin Hall Dies After Exiting Police Vehicle on M5

Tamzin Hall, a 17-year-old from Wellington, Somerset, was fatally struck by a vehicle on the M5 after leaving a police car.
She was being transported by Avon and Somerset Police to a custody suite in Bridgwater when the incident occurred.
The police vehicle stopped on the northbound side of the motorway, and Tamzin exited before being hit on the southbound carriageway.
Independent Office for Police Conduct (IOPC) is investigating the circumstances surrounding her death.
Avon and Somerset Police have expressed condolences to Tamzin's family and have assigned a family liaison officer for support.
