• On May 16, Gloria Stephenson, 86, was using a zebra crossing on Burdon Road in Sunderland when a black Sur-Ron electric motorcycle struck her.
• The rider, a teenager, fled the scene immediately after the collision but was later arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving.
• Northumbria Police have released the teenager on bail pending further inquiries and recovered the electric motorbike.
