Teenager Dies in Sheffield Car Crash During Police Pursuit

An 18-year-old driving a stolen car died after crashing into a wall while fleeing from police in a pre-planned operation.

The incident occurred on December 23 in the Hyde Park Walk area of Sheffield, South Yorkshire.
The teenager was driving a stolen black Ford Fiesta and attempted to evade police, leading to a brief chase.
The car collided with a wall, and the driver was taken to the hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.
South Yorkshire Police have referred the case to the Independent Office for Police Conduct, as is standard in such incidents.
