Teenager Arrested in Connection with Christmas Eve Stabbing Death in London

The 16-year-old suspect, known to the 22-year-old female victim, remains in custody as police continue their investigation.

A 16-year-old boy has been arrested on suspicion of murder after a 22-year-old woman was found stabbed to death in a residential property in Bermondsey, south London on Christmas Eve.
The victim and the suspect were known to each other.
Emergency services, including paramedics from the London Ambulance Service and London's Air Ambulance, attended the scene but the woman died from her injuries.
The teenager was arrested nearby shortly after the incident and remains in custody at a south London police station.
A post-mortem examination is scheduled to take place on Tuesday.
