Teenager Accused of Stabbing Two Teachers and a Student at Welsh School

The 14-year-old admitted to wounding with intent but denied attempted murder in the April 2024 attack at Ysgol Dyffryn Aman.

The incident occurred after the teenager was confronted by a teacher about her non-uniform trousers at the Ammanford school.
Assistant head teacher Fiona Elias was the first victim, with the girl allegedly shouting threats before stabbing her multiple times.
Another teacher, Liz Hopkin, sustained severe injuries while trying to intervene and had to be airlifted for medical treatment.
The teenager also injured a fellow student before being restrained by school staff and arrested by police.
Evidence presented in court included notes and drawings found at the girl's home, which prosecutors argued indicated premeditation, though the defendant denies intending to kill.
