Overview

• A 16-year-old girl was raped on Clyst Halt Avenue around 9pm, and a 17-year-old girl was sexually assaulted at Digby and Sowton Station and later on a train around 9:30pm.
• The assaults occurred within a 30-minute window in the area near Digby and Sowton Station in Exeter.
• A 19-year-old man from Exeter has been arrested on suspicion of rape and sexual assault and remains in police custody.
• Devon and Cornwall Police have confirmed they are not seeking additional suspects and are actively investigating the incidents.
• Both victims are receiving support from specialist officers, and police are appealing for witnesses to assist with the investigation.
